Listening to Hand in my Pocket - Alanis Morisette

Breakfast was Nasi Lemak with fried chicken.

Listening to the office printer churning out paper

AVP... is not so good. There were a lot of plot holes. A LOT. Some of my friends want to nominate it for the comedy of the year. o_O

Today is ok I guess. So far nothing uneventful has happened. Boring.

More work later I guess.

Lunch... later.

Listening to crumpling paper

Nothing much to add except for the addition of The Misadventures of Scarile Garreth and The Fascinating Journey of Aeriella Semmorn links at the top of the page.

Well, maybe another thing to add. Hope to see AVP later today. Yosh!

Lunch had a lot of food. A colleague is leaving the company, so it was a feast. :9

Listening to some colleagues talking in the background

I'm making an effort to push my writing skills by writing on the RP blog (not linking it anymore, since you know how to get there already). A bit tired today, but I think I'll live.

Anyway, work is almost over. I think. Not sure yet. But I think it's nearing completion. 3 weeks for a substation project is fairly short, I must say. Usually it'll take roughly about 1.5 months. I think the standardization is doing well. But unfortunately, we still don't know how it'll go...

On the other hand, I got myself more WARMACHINE minis. A minimum squad of long gunners to be exact. So, currently, my models stand at:
Commander Coleman Stryker
Commander Adept Nemo
Journeyman Warcaster
Ironclad Heavy Warjack
Charger Light Warjack
Lancer Light Warjack
1 Longgunner Sgt + 5 Longgunners.

Anyway, none of them are fully painter. But I did notice that the longunners make very good alternatives to the Warhammer40k Imperial Guard snipers.

Here's a quickie. Just came up with it as I'm writing.

What is the reason to live?
When you are predestined to die.
What is the reason to give?
When what you will receive is just a lie.

What is the reason to make amends?
When you know it will never be done.
What is the reason for making friends?
When they are not friends
if your wealth and status are gone.

What is the reason to fall in love?
When you know your heart is to be broken.

Hahaha. I used to write some really weird ass poems/rhymes. This was from 27 November 1998. It's not finished. I do a lot of half-arsed works. Well, the poem's made when I was rather depressed. Ok. VERY depressed. The whole 1998 was a bad year for me, and I really can't remember any good things happening that year.

But now I guess I've lighten up.

Lunch... is free today. W00t. It's a surprise I guess.

(Was) listening to the rain outside

Lunch was nice. Day is tiring. Doing some work. As usual. Eyes are feeling lazy. Body says sleep.

Listening to myself write the above makes me feel a bit stupid o_O

Some things that are happening in the near future:
1. Company's Family Day. Location is at Selesa Hillhomes. Having a paintball session at the Colmar Tropicale clubhouse also. Heh. This will be interesting. Maybe can even play softball too. W00t.
2. Raw Deal Vengeance pre-release. I am playing FBI and Paul Heyman. Probably. I am EVIL.
3. Taking a holiday to UK and Italy with my family. Heh. Should be interesting. Probably going to start collecting postcards too. And of course the foreign coins for my grandfather.
4. Warhammer 40k 4th Ed. Bring on the war!!!
5. Warmachine Escalation. Bring on the pain!!!
6. Start drawing for Amateur Cheese. Don't ask. Just buy when it comes out :D
7. Role play more on the RP blog.

Welp! Need to concentrate on work!

Lunch was Grandmother Fried Rice, Fried cuttlefish and Honeydew Milk Tea. It's all very nice :D

Listening to the same old stuff

Weekend was great. Tiring but great. Recap of the last 3 days or so:

1. Friday evening/night: The not so usual. Met someone, gamed, talked and went back home to sleep early.
2. Saturday morning: Woke up at 5:45 am. Drove to Bukit Tinggi with Blur and Ian. Played paintball with a whole of people. Fell down, scratched my knees (luckily the army pants were tough) and the palm of my right hand. Hand bled a bit, but nothing I couldn't handle. Won 2 of 4 jungle fights, and won the tactical course also. Got shot in the head, and right arm. Head's ok (thick skull I suppose), but arm is bruised. Nice mark though :) Finished at 1, but bathing (cold water is refreshingly scary) and cooling down made us leave the place at about 1:30pm. Checked my phone only to have a bunch of SMS (my mum wanted to borrow the car at 1 pm.)
3. Saturday afternoon: Arrived back home at 2+ pm. Traffic Jam at Kepong no thanks to the MRR2 being closed. Bandaged the hand. Had lunch at home. And it's off to Amcorp!
Arrive at Amcorp at 3pm. Talked a bit. Gamed a small portion of my usual dose. Slept for a good amount of time. Plus I slept outside the shop...
4. Saturday night: Cousin's house warming kenduri. Did Maghrib prayers, read the doa selamat, and other stuff. Apart from that, nothing exciting. Slept at my cousin's house at 9+pm. Still too tired. Left for home at about 10:15. Slept all the way home. And when I reached home, sent a couple of SMSes, then fell dead on the bed. Well, not literally ;P
5. Sunday morning: Let's see... Couldn't participate for Sunday cycling session mainly due to my injured right palm (try to grip a bike handle with wounds in your arm) and my skinned knees. Plus when I woke up in the morning at 6am, I had the feeling of cramps in my legs :( Anyway... Slept off till 10am until ExecutorAzmin woke me up with a call. He asked if I was going to the shop, so I said yeah, but a bit later. I couldn't sleep (12 hours of sleep does that to you :D), so I played KOTOR for awhile. Then I got a call from a friend, and I decided to meet up with a group of tabletop RPG/anime enthusiasts for lunch at the SS2 Burger King. That was rather exciting. Haha.
Sunday afternooon: Went to the shop. Said hi to the guys, played a game of munchkin. And after that was Chris' DnD session. Golems are evil! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! Got unconscious a bunch of times. Got my right arm cut off. Got a stone arm grafted on. Pretty interesting all the way. And we got to meet Bonzai. Let's just say that quote "if the devil were to be stuck in a Hello Kitty body... that would be Bonzai"
Session lasted till 11:45 pm. About 6 hours of RPGing... I must say that I was dead tired... but pretty happy. Played very much in character most of the time as a gnomish rogue who is magic-prejudiced, talkative, and the party leader.

Had dinner at 12:15 am Slept at about 1:30 am.

Hahahahaha talked too much already. I think I should stop.

Lunch was.... hm... didn't have lunch yet...

Listening to my colleague giving support in the background

Today's interesting. I didn't do much work, yet... but it will be coming soon after. This weekend is a bit heavy. Paintball, cycling, and lots of other stuff. But I think the result would all be good.

So anyway, I think I should update my blog appearance soon, since it's about time I change it. A good time to try out all the new blogger features that's available. I have made access to my ealier blog page available to a select few. As a friend had commented, I was a whole lot more chirpier in 2001. I think she's right. But as I am a little less chirpy nowadays, keeping positive thoughts is always a good thing.

Also, I think my [RP blog] is also coming along nicely.

Feeling a bit tired at the moment. Maybe should catch 40 winks before continuing with work.

Ah, almost forgot: My bro's A levels scores are out. 24 modules taken over 2 years. 4 subjects.
Further Math, Math, Economics, Statistics. out of 24 modules, 15 perfect scores. this year alone, out of 15 modules taken, 9 perfect scores. All modules are A's

I don't know how he does it @_@;;; But definitely a shoutout to him to congratulate him on his excellent performance.

Lunch was chicken rice and low sugar iced barley.

Listening to the click-clack of my keyboard

Yesterday I was reading some of my older posts. I can't believe that I started using blogger since 2001. However, I think I started making an online journal using notepad/frontpage/dreamweaver earlier than that. Let's just say that it's a nostalgia kind of thing.

I read about the stupid things I did. And the good things too. This current blog was around since mid 2002 during the last week of the world cup. I have another blog which I had stopped for some reason or another, which ran from July 2001 till July 2002.

I wonder how much time I spent blogging, and reading other people's blogs. I used to blog every day, up to 3 to 4 post a day, saying mundane stuff. Nowadays, I visit all my friends' blogs every day, but I rarely post. Maybe it's time to start anew. I guess you'll be seeing more of me then. :D

Listening to Don't Wanna Miss A thing - Aerosmith

I shall remember this day. And yesterday.

Dinner was Saba Teriyaki, some vegetable salad, miso soup and Pepsi .

Listening to... my office colleague who is also a friend speaking to me (and yes, she's reading this as I am typing :/)

I updated my old RP blog today. Quite a suprise to see that the last post was yesterday, except that it was made 2 years ago. LOL.

Anyway. Life is hectic, tiring and plain disturbing sometimes. Project is making life worse... but I still like to do work @_@. Hopefully it will all be over in the next week or so. Until then, I'm utterly tired.

On the other hand, some other stuff came up. Some interesting. Some dull. But all good.

Anyway (there's alot of anyways in this post; repetition sucks) I heard from one of my friends that one of my other friends had already left for GENCON, Indiana. Good luck, Joe!

My office friend is doing spellcheck for me now -_-;;; Anyway (number 3 now) I'm starting to write again, and it's not work related. Which is kind of good. It's thanks to some pushing by a friend. So the result might be a bit junky at the beginning, but I think I'll be able to produce some quality works in the not so near future.

Let's try a 5 minute rhyme then...

The greatest thing a man can do,
is not going to the moon, oh no, not true.
It's not making the tallest building,
Or to cross the English Channel via swimming.
It's not creating the pyramids of old.
Or making statues made of gold.
Do you know what I think it is?
To utterly destroy animosities
against religion, color, race and creed.
To remove the feeling of greed.
from "humans" controlling the masses
without fearing all the backlashes.
To spread love and hope and joy.
To every kid, girl or boy.

Lunch was Pineapple Fried Rice and some kailan dish with Longan drink. That was great I tell ya!

Listening to....

I had a much longer post but blogger ate it up. Just saying that I'm back from Austria and the weather was great. The scenery was beautiful. The buildings are beautiful. Took almost 500 pictures.

Breakfast was Nasi Lemak and warm water.
