Listening to ...
Been quite some time since I last posted. Here's a rundown.
I lost the battle against the veteran guy. I had a battleplan. He had a battleplan. His battleplan was what I expected. Then I had to roll 2 D6. The chance of rolling a double 1 is rather slim, but when it had the most impact... it just happens. Damn Murphy!!!! You and your law!!! Anyway, I gracefully accepted the lost and I guess that's it for my warhammer 40K tournament days for this month. However, I'll be back with a vengeance!!! Practising will hone my tactical knowledge.

Also I forgot to mention, my Dad got his birthday present from my bro in the UK. And guess what? It's the whole Monthy Phyton movie box set. The big sharp teeth comes!!! All I got my dad was the latest Norah Jones Album.

Oh! And I got something for myself too recently. It's the Macross Super Dimension Figure set Series 002. All 5 models. 2 transformable veritechs (valkyries for you macross fans), one is a VF-1S (Roy Fokker's Skull Squadron) the otehr is a red VF-1J model. Got 3 posable figures (non transformable, but very sturdy): A battloid mode VF-1S, 1 armored white/blue VF-1J valkyrie and 1 Excalibur. The models are damn sweet.

Lunch was a tasteless mee bandung and sirap bandung.

Listening to Aura - See Saw (.Hack//Sign OST 1)

As you all might have guessed, I couldn't install KOTOR. Oh well. My W40k battle is confirmed this weekend. Hopefully I can get my work mostly finished, if not finished by then. I'm expecting some probable tactics from the opponent, but I have yet to resolve a countermeasure as of yet. Only time will tell.

Right now, I'm slowing down on Gunbound and RO to finish painting my miniatures. So far everything looks good which makes me happy. I want to complete the models which I'm suppose to be playing with by the battle, so wish me luck. Maybe some time in the near future, I'll take pictures or something :)

Dinner was KFC. Drink was Pepsi (yuck!)

Listening to some the whirring of my DVD/CD rom drive

I am currently installing SW:KOTOR on my comp as I am writing this. The installation is taking forever. Sheesh. And by the sounds of it, the drive is not gonna last much longer. I hope the CD's not the cause of the problem :(

Anyway. I look forward to playing the game.

And another good news today, I won my secon round battle in the warhammer 40k tourney to a 3 wraithlord/15 wraithguard Iyanden Eldar! If for most of you who don't know this... THE BATTLE WAS HARD! Really hard! I won because I try as much as possible to fulfill the mission objectives. My next battle would be against one of 2 veteran players. Fighting either one will *not* be a pleasing sight.

Dinner was Char Kuey Teow with Cold Soya Bean milk without the Ice.

Listening to the pain in my head

Tired. Just so very tired. Am in the office at the moment.

Last Saturday saw me playing a warhammer40k in a very long time. Well, can't be avoided since it is a tourney battle after all. Elimination knockout style. I almost got my ass whooped in the game, but managed to pull a win outta my ass. :P I'm definitely out of practice, but most of what I remembered is still there. I'll probably need to play a bit more to regain my touch.

Listening to Stoned - Dido (Life for rent)

Wow. 2 posts in 2 days.

I bought Dido's latest album yesterday (see above). It's good. Really good. It didn't have Hunter though.

Only has 11 tracks though.

But it's good.

My RO swordsman is 37/26 now. Earning his first 11k/hour zeny run.
My Diablo2:LOD paladin is level 15.
My Gunbound avatar has 4 equpiment. I'm planning to get the Malaysian Flag just for kicks :D

I'm going to Uniten for its Open Day on Saturday, so my RPG session's off on that day. Come meet me if you want. Plus you get to see the University if you're interested. And I just found out that they now have Multimedia and graphic courses in Uniten.

However, don't despair, the session on Sunday will comprise of the scenario listed below. I know I'm gonna be dead tired because that's when the DIVAS OVERLOAD expansion will arrive. And consequently the limited Divas Overload WWE Raw Deal tourney on the same day. Hm....

Hopefully the tourney won't be that long, otherwise I'm dead.

Listening to the computers and stuff

Heh. At work. Been leaving the office exactly at 6 or 6:30 pm max.

My RO swordsman is now level 36/26 kicking Vadon ass in Byalan 2. So far so good, I'm making 7k zeny an hour. Soon I will gain 10k an hour. And I'm levelling up pretty nicely too.

My Gunbound account now has 3 items. Not too bad, I must say. Soon to get a 4th one. I want money!

Also thinking of a horror movie kinda thing to write. However I am lacking 2 things.
1. Actors/actresses
2. The video recorder itself.

I'll try writing the backbone of the story first before saying anything else. If it's good, it might end up on Kazaa or something. Instant sucess! :P

And I need some ideas for my Robotech campaign. The next 2 scenario requires the squad to defend the downtown of a city near Congo. Gimme a city name that fits into the Robotech Saga, plus some other ideas that could be incoperated into the scenario.

I was thinking of the following: (highlight for spoilers)
1. Squad having leisure time.
2. Squad receives order to get to warzone ASAP. Squad leaves. Squad is told that RDF reinforcements and aid will only arrive after the area is cleared
3. Squad enters warzone. Squad splits into 2. a - protect and shelter the civilians b - Repel the attackers. LOTS OF zentraedis. Overwhelming infact. It's a major assault.
4. Both sub-squads will have their seperate battles.
5. They are given a command to counter attack the Zentraedi. The RDF reinforcements arrive, do a quick fix on the mechas. If a player is left without a mecha, he will have to ride with someone. The reinforcements also help with the civilians. The squad leaves for African Jungles of Congo.
6. At this point, it's jungle survival. The team must work together in order to surive the constant attacks/traps and the harsh jungle environment. The mechanic will have his hand full with all the quick fixes that he will have to do, plus fatigue is a really bad thing.
7. The squad's main objective is to totally demolish the Zentraedi's HQ in Congo. This will be rather hard as they don't even know where exactly it is except from outside radio contact.

What do you guys think? Viable?

Lunch was nasi kandar with beansprouts and chicken. Drink was iced tea with less sugar.

Listening to............. nothing significant

I'm at work. I mean office. Yeah. The work at the Penchala Tunnel aka Penchala Link aka Tunnel near Mont Kiara is almost complete. A few pending stuff still remains however and I need to clear those items too.

The weekend was GREAT!

Lotsa things happened.
1. I'm back GM-ing the Robotech RPG sessions that I had loved during my secondary school years. It's the Palladium Robotech RPG, if you don't know. Yeah, geeky, but hell it was good. I don't know why, but I managed to get 12 people into the game, with a quarter not knowing anything about the Robotech Universe. The good thing about GM-ing now is that I've grown quite mature in the story telling parts of it, and rather than just play a "shoot first ask questions later" scenarios, the players are actually required to go out of their mecha and do stuff on foot. Plus, I gave the players the freedom to create their character's background, thus promising much development between PCs with NPCs and PCs with PCs.

The only thing bad happened was that one of the players stabbed another player in the back (literally) with an army knife. The wounded player ended up dying when he couldn't get out of a car when a stinger missle was fired at it.

The players were very amusing to play with, and they role played really well. Here's the list of PCs:
1 English Female (boyfriend died in the Zentraedi assault)
1 Russian Female (distnat relative to Captain Gloval)
1 Zentraedi Male (Hippy Zentraedi. Go figure)
1 European Male (backstabber!)
1 Malay Male (how did he end up here in the RDF, only God knows :D)
2 Mexican males (brothers, one, the chain smoker combat medic, ended up dead as explained above)
1 Spanish male (ex military ops)
And a few more that I can't remember the place of origin

All in all good fun. Tiring, yes, but good fun. Ran 2 sessions (Saturday's one was a mecha scenario, while Sunday's was the espionage mission). Watching the 2 guys role play as the mexican brothers was too damn funny. I couldn't keep a straight face when they got into character. And when combined with the guy playing the Malay... Riot ensues~ XD

Chinese motel keeper NPC : What your name, ah?
Malay Guy : (pause) Ah Choo
CMKNPC : You lie! You no look Chinese
Malay Guy : Me mixed. Chinese... and Italian
(Everybody laughs)
Me: o_O

If anybody's interested, please gimme a call. I mean, how often do you get to play a tabletop PnP RPG? I think PnP rpgs is a very difference experience than the console/computer RPGs. After this I'm joining my friend's Star Wars RPG sessions.

2. More RO. 35/25 Swordie now. In Byalan 2.

3. More Gunbound. This game is too fun to not play.

4. Less sleep.

5. Pay's in. W00t.

Breakfast was... air? Didn't have anthing to munch :(
