*ANNOUNCEMENT*

I am changing jobs today. I shall be a system engineer on the 4th. I'll be working 8:30 - 6:00 Mon-Fri. Satrdays and Sundays are offdays. I shall get more work. I shall stop talking now.

Oh and a happy CNY to all (except for those mouning for a relative)

The Magic: The Gathering, Legions Prerelease thing was fun!

Things that happened during that day:

1. 180 people played during the 1st session, while about 80 people played during the second.
2. There were 2 girls who played both sessions! W00t!
3. I played against the journalist from The Star's Youth 2 who writes the CCG section. Fun guy :)
4. I won 2 rounds and lost 2 during the each session. They were both win-lose-win-lose.
5. I won 6 booster packs (approx. RM60) and an oversized mouse pad. the mousepad rocks :D
6. I got some good cards too. BTW, this was a sealed deck tourney, You only pay for the booster packs and the starter and you get to keep them.
7. The whole event (the 2 sessions) went for almost 12 hours (10am - 9:30pm). I'm tired =_=
8. The 2nd session started at about 3-4pm.
9. Legions is an average expansion. Much better than most had expected.

2. Be bummed out because of tiredness.

Well, whaddaya know. I'm a gamer freak after all. Bought 2 Marvel Heroclix boosters yesterday. Fun game. Now I have to worry about the Legions Pre-release Tourney on the 26th.

I'm no Roald Dahl... I think I could have made it better and longer, but oh well... (Done in 10 minutes or so)

It recently occured to me,
to somewhat a terrible degree,
that I've contracted a disease,
that would make anybody freeze.
A plague so bad,
that it makes us sad,
It pulls us asunder,
and make us a blunder.
It started so small,
that it felt like nothing at all.
It spread and spread.
Like a trend or fad,
to take over the body,
of a person who once was healthy,
of this disease; this plague,
which is not really vague.
It grows on you,
and you get accustomed to,
you feel you're fine,
but it creeps like a vine.
"Oh" you say,
"I can keep it at bay".
"I'll eat my medicine"
but because of that I'm concern.
Because the disease is curable,
but by no means medicinal.
It's psychological,
maybe even pathological.
But you can only see it
a l'il bit by bit.
Sometimes a little too late.
But that is fate.
So shut the fuck up.
And just buck up.
Listen to me.
and you might be free,
of this venerable sickness,
called procrastinating or laziness.

Getting more used to the local time right now. But not totally adjusted yet.

I'm planning to revive the Roleplay Blog. Need to do a new layout to accomodate both my personal blog and the roleplay one. (Yes it's gonna be a merge)

Diablo2 adventures: Finished Diablo off in Normal difficulty. Got to play Moo Moo Farm. I also didn't see any original LOD boxes in the comp shops I visited :(

Work later today. Bleh.

A couple of days before my trip, my speakers got busted. I just got a new pair today yesterday. Altec Lansing r0x. It's a 2 speaker set (no subwoofer) but the sound is really good. A few changes to the equalizer and it's as good as the previous one. (yeah, this one's cheaper too).

Diablo 2 is fun fun fun. Not bad for such a game over a year old. Now, to level up my paladin... Anybody got a copy of NWN yet? I wanna play multiplayer RP ;_;

BTW, is it me, or CF's server is gone? ;_;

Oh and I love this new manga called Milk Crown and Milk Crown H which are being scanlated by Mangascreener. Check out the [artist's] site. Artwork's clean and the story is funny like hell.

Here's some extra stuff about the UK.

1. I didn't see one bit of anime. The closest thing to Japan was Some Hello Kitty products and Yugioh cards.
2. My bro's college is pretty cool. Had people coming from Nigeria, M'sia, HK, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The girls (tho young) are pretty cute :3
3. I saw only 1 Dragonlance book in my whole trip. :O Pratchett's books were all over tho.
4. Games Workshop was cool. I visited one 5 years ago, and it never stopped to amaze me how nice and detailed the tabletop battle arenas are. Oh, GW also created a line of LOTR:FOTR and TTT playable miniatures. I think I got to see mini Aragorn and co.
5. Wanted to see/buy pr0n, but parents were around. :(
6. Yugioh is bigger than Magic The Gathering. Wow.
7. The Brits are full of Pagan hunters. I couldn't find a copy of Diablo 2: Lords of Destruction after the New Year!
8a. UK TV is cool. If anybody gets a chance to go there, try catching "The Basil Brush Show". It's on BBC2 9 am. It's a kid's show, but the whole show appeals to even adults. Good stuff.
8b. I got to see The Weakest Link. Wierd game show. Very evil.
8c. Saw a show called Daily Politics. Got to watch Tony Blair fighting off Opposition's questions in the House of Commons. Pretty nifty.
8d. Caught James Bond 007: Goldeneye on normal telly. I pity our TV broadcast.
8e. The morning shows likes to repeat stuff every hour. Yeech.
9. There are helluva lot of roundabouts in England.

Jetlag is bad. I slept at 4:30 am this morning. =_=

Office is at 8am.

Dad's car is not working. So had to wake up at 7am to get prepare.

I need sleep.

I am back! 10 tiring days.

My bro is now in the UK studying his A-levels. And I'm back in M'sia working :)

3. 1 LOTR: FOTR special extended DVD edition [Region 2] (21 Pounds/RM126)
4. 1 Everton Scarf :) (5 Pounds/RM30)
5. 2 A4 sketching pads (2 Pounds each/RM6 each)

It was flooding all over England, esp in Kent. (Luckily we didn't visit that area). Snow appeared on the very last day of the trip :(
