Listening to Thank you - Dido
Hello everyone! It's that time for the show again.
Welcome to Ahmad's Little Corner. Let's see what do we have for you today...
Hmm... see this? This is an interesting link. Wrestlemaina XXI is looming in the very near distance, so catch it and tell me the matches. I'll be working on the day.
Now... onto the next item. Work. Looks like I didn't get as much raise as I would have wanted to get. *Sigh* Nothing like last year. :(
Sing a song time!
My Day
The world is so lonely,
when you are far away.
Feeling you sitting beside me,
For sure makes my day.
And when I see you unhappy,
my day turns to gray,
Looking at you so pretty,
For sure makes my day.
When I see the stars in the sky,
It reminds me of you,
When I see the sun rise in the early morn,
It makes me think of you,
So why did you leave me be?
I ask myself each day.
Was is my fault? Was it me?
To God did I pray.
Now I feel so damn lonely,
no longer happy nor gay.
What do you see in him and not me?
To make you look away?
When I see the stars in the sky,
It reminds me of you,
When I see the sun rise in the early morn,
And It makes me think of you,
[Cue cool interlude with guitar riffs]
And now you leave all alone,
So bare and cold to the bone.
You made my heart turn to stone.
If only... if only I had known.
So why did you leave me be?
I ask myself each day.
Was is my fault? Was it me?
To God did I pray.
Now I feel so damn lonely,
no longer happy nor gay.
What do you see in him and not me?
To make you look away?
When I see the darkness in the sky,
It reminds me of you,
When I see the sun set in the evening,
And It makes me think of you,
When you see the madness in my eyes,
It reminds you of me,
When you see me pull the trigger,
It'll be the last thing you'll see.
Finito. Better or worse than my previous song? Comments?
Status: Need to do work
Lunch was Mamak rice.

Pretty good, although one of the phrases sounded a little... hmm... 'for sure make my day' was the one I meant. Doesn't quite gel, if you get what I mean. The final verse was a dark, but interesting ending to the song.
